I know this is the PS2 board, but...

63, GCN, RESIDENT EVIL, April/1/02, CAPCOM USA, 21972, 341047, $48.30

O.o

I dunno, that seems a bit low to me... only about 350,000 copies sold so far and it's dropped to 63 on the list...

I guess I'm just used to PS2 games and their sales going crazy high :p Well, the highly anticipated ones, at least... and the RE1 remake seemed pretty highly anticipated and people were like "IT WILL SELL A MILLION EASY!" and stuff ;)

Anyways... If that's for July, then GTA3 might have already hit the 4,000,000 mark in the US... coolio :D

Woah. PS2, again, is ripping up the charts. Will this ever end?! :D

Anyways, I think that this is proving that GTA3 is such a great game. I mean, it's been in like the top 5 ever since its release, almost a year ago! That is HUGE.

And MOH:FL is doing terrific. I really didn't expect it to sell over a million copies in before Christmas, if ever! I guess I underestimated its fanbase.

Gran Tourismo is still doing great. But then again, that is thanks to the price drop. But the price drop is thanks to its great sales...

Anyways... I cannot see the way things are changing too dramatically in the near future.

not to mention the fact that RE: CVX (a Dreamcast port onto the PS2) has sold more than RE for Gamecube...

Yeah... I think RE:CVX's sales are pretty poor too... hey, maybe the RE series is just losing it's steam here in the US :p

Or I guess the low sales on NGC could be due to the fact that NGC's user-base isn't the biggest out there, mixed in with a bit of the "kiddy image" (and yes, there are probably a number of parents or younger kids who bought a gamecube and won't let their kids play RE... although there would be people like that with PS2 as well, but still it has a bigger userbase overall... :sneaky: )...

And the low sales for RE:CVX could be cuz it's a port and it didn't get the best reviews around... I havn't played the PS2 version, but I thought the DC version of RE:CV was good :D

But yeah the sales for RE:CVX are picking up quite a bit cuz it was recently made a greatest hits game... as for RE sales... I doubt they'll pick up much anytime soon... :p

Not that it's a big deal, it's just I figured RE on NGC would sell quite a bit more than it has...

Just a while ago I was having an argument on AIM with some retard...he said PS2 was dropping sales in both here and Japan (he was a Nintendo fanboy)...lol

It's nice to see PS2 is dominating the charts :D

On the subject of sales: Jebus! In Japan PS2's just sell like mad, STILL. I would think everybody in Japan has one. Either sony does:

A. Make PS2's break after a year so people buy a new one.

or

B. They use PS2's to build houses.
