Mark is a retired Mob Boss who is released from jail. When he arrives home he wants to fly straight but his wife is murdered and his son is taken hostage by his old mob boss Charlie.Now Mark must race around the city and perform many tasks or else his son is killed.There is also more to the story but nothing confirmed yet

After you play as Mark half of the game the other half youll play as Frank Carter a well respected Police Officer who is trying to put an end to Charlie and crosses paths with Mark all in a huge trail of events

Sounds awesome... now let's just hope there are enough peds and opportunities to go on crazy rampages, and you don't just go from mission to mission to mission playing through the game...

Oh and what's with Nudity popping up in games so much all of a sudden? :unsure: well I say so much, but considering it used to not be in games at all, I guess 2 or 3 games in just the past few months is a lot... kinda...

Woah... That is a long list... I just hope that you will be able to kill people randomly, because 24 missions doesn't sound like too much, IMO.

And it takes 15 minutes to walk or drive from north to south?

The missions arn`t like GTA where u only do on thing and it says mission suceed its over

The missions are like some u have to do like 6 or 7 things in one mission and each time u do a mission its part of the store so its nothing like GTA3

Also yes you can kill people randomly but they made it more relistic then GTA3 the cops don`t run you off the road like they do in GTA they don`t run over civilians they are actually like real cops who don`t just start shooting at you

Another thing you can get arrested easily say you walk down the street holding a gun the cops will try to arrest you.Because in real life if you walked down the street with a gun they would arrest you

Nice post, keep up the good work.

And this isn't supposed to be like GTA3, people...The missions take at LEAST 15 minutes to complete, some as long as an hour, there is a good hollywood-style story, and real cars and stores etc. are involved. If you're looking for a GTA3 clone (and why would you be? when Vice City is coming out within the next 6 months? :unsure: ) you're not going to find it in The Getaway. It'll be something different, and something hopefully very refreshing. I know I'm looking forward to it.

they said the Mission where you sneak into the police Station undercover takes you like 5 hours to complete. Other Missions take from 1-3 hours to complete. Plus they said secret stuff would be able to be unlocked after you beat the game

Can we save the game while we are doing a mission? Because I do not think that I will have the patience to complete a 2 hour mission all in one sitting.

Yeah im pretty sure u can save after each part of the mission like each mission u have to do like 5-10 differnt things each that will take some time so i assume after every part u do u can save thats only a theory though ill tell u soon as its annonced

i just got a confirmed part of the assinate a chinese mob boss.

You are told to kill his Chinese Mob Boss.So what you do is you are recruited by the Triads. First you have to do some kind of task for them to prove your not a cop or anything. Then you are hired as the bosses Driver. What you do is you have to drive him somewhere and then kill him.What you have to do is Decapitate him and then put a fake head on his body. (It sounds a little weird but kinda cool) Then you drive him to somewhere but u cant drive too fast or bump into anything or his head falls off and youll be under heavy fire from the Triads. Theres more but nothing confirmed yet
