Should I get LoTR on DVD?

I'm just asking since I know I want to get it. But I'm not exactly sure if I should. But just vote. It will help me.

Wait until Nov. 12 if you can. The special edition DVD comes out then with the deleted scenes (like the gift giving scene with Galadriel) and other stuff the regular DVD won't have.

Unless you don't care about the extra stuff or want both...

Heh, I jsut went to the site with the frito lay cash deal thing going on right now. I cilcked on Toyopia.com and they have LoTR available for credit! And with the $20 I have for credit, I would only be paying $4.95!(not including Shipping and Handling). I think my mind has been made up!

yea, you gotta get the simpsons season 2, I have the season 1, and that is like pretty much the only DVD I have...I love it though...

Wait for the directors cut with the 3 or 4 discs and the 30 min of deleted scenes, moving the movie to the R category...

The rules are as follows: This special applies to pre-purchases ONLY. No duplicate DVD's. Some titles are exlcuded. No kung fu, documentaries, porn, anime, cartoons, ect...just actual movies. Some movies are excluded, typically movies w/a special edition already out, although some still apply (I used the Usual Suspects regular edition).

Wait a sec... When you say Simpsons season 1/2, does that mean all the epidodes ever created on those two sets? Or are they just the dvd's which only contain the first 2 series of the simpsons (the very old ones :D)?

So in time, they will release 13 dvd sets?

They have Season 1 out already. Season 2 is supposed to come out soon. They made a little joke in the first set(in a little paper insert thing) about that by the time they release all 13 seasons. The next format after DVD will be out. But basically, they are gonna try and get all 13 original seasons out(before the next format:D)
