ICO Sequel... Maybe

As you probably already know from our story on the subject yesterday, the developers of Sony's fascinating puzzle adventure ICO are hiring new staff for another project on PlayStation 2. Impress Game Watch (http://watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20020726/ico.htm), however, is reporting something today that we didn't know -- the project in question is in fact a sequel to ICO, rather than a new or unrelated game. No details are available on the game, other than that the team plans to again break new ground by presenting new and unique game concepts.

We look forward to proper confirmation from SCE and further information on the game, and will bring it to you as soon as possible.

Awesome... I hope it's true. Even if it's not a sequel to Ico, I hope it gets one eventually :p

Such a good game... I rented it and beat it, but I am still planning on buying it like once it hits the $20 mark or so... Well, Ok maybe more like when it hits that price mark and I get a job... but still... :D

It is 22.99 CDN used here.... So just find a used one for cheap!

ICO is truly a masterpiece. If the sequel is similar to it, and longer in length, I'll definately buy it...
