My friend and I have different opinions on which case to buy. I was wondering which one you think I should get...

If I got the black one, I'd have to have black drives but thats not a big deal. The silver one might look better with silver drives or I could just leave em white. Anways...which one do you like? If you like the silver, what color monitor would you get with it?
top one. cuz i like black. :P

Top one. Although I'd prefer one without a window, then you can do custom designs.
I know a guy who could put the GC logo on the side of the case, then use a purple light inside :)

I'd go with black. Looks better.

Actually, I think a white drive would look better with a black case than a silver case, so I'd go with the black case. I'm sure white drives are easier to come by than black or silver, too.

I take it you're looking for a matched case then...
You're going to have a job, thanks to that shiny panel on the front, but never mind. If that's what you're looking for, go for the balc - black drives are much easier to come across than silver ones. If you want silver drives you'll have to do it yourself, or stealth them (and seeing as the cases don't seem to come with a blank bezel for the first CD drive, this will be damned tricky).
Of course, if you go the Lian Li route, they will sell you brushed aluminium bezels to stick to the front of your drive. You can get them matched to whichever case you have, and they come fitted for different ranges of CD/DVD drives.
Never been too keen on top windows meself...
a) they make fitting a blowhole a bitch
b) they don't really show anything very pretty unless you put a window in your hard drive or CD drive
c) they make fitting a cold cathode up there totally pointless
It has to be said, after owning one and having fiddled with many more (including Lian Li knockoffs like the ones here) that I think they do make the best cases for the price (the CoolerMaster ones are the dogs bollocks, but very expensive) and IMO you should go with them. You're going to be using your case for longer than the lifetime of your computer, right?

Are you saying you think I should get this case or a lian li case?
