Guess the paint's the thing he kept seeing him jump into in the comercials, and transports to a world. Functioning as the paintings did in SM64.

In one of the vidoes Mario uses a pipe to go from one end of the town in another. He jumps inside it and then you see the shadow of the pipe under the ground and he pops up in the other end.

Ok, I typed it up in my Japanese Word program and translated with Babel Fish.
