Some info I picked up:

1) no File Planet and Nvidia did not release it early on accident, they're just letting people have it a little early so when it goes live tonight some people will already be ready to play

2) NO you can not play online, until midnight PST time

3) NO you cannot progress through the training mission until the MASTER SERVERS OWNED BY THE GOVERNEMNT are turned on tonight

so all you can do is the first marksmanship training mission

so basicly they released it early yes, but u really cant do anything yet... until the master servers are turned on

hope this clears some things up because i've noticed a lot of missguided posting

Arghh! The servers open at midnight Pacific time. Guess I should have known..

BTW, gekko, I got 220KB/s download speeds with no dedicated dl server :p. Of course, I only had to wait 50 minutes before I got that speed, so it actually comes out to be about 47.6 KB/s if I figured it out right.. :p

I'm being one of the brave people and am downloading it (even though I am on 56k:(). I let it download from the time it started on Gamespot (reserved a spot) until about 8:15 this morning. So around oh, 6 hours and its 20% complete!:rofl: But I don't care, I have nothing else better to download.

I get that friggin error too!:mad2: What kind of graphics card do you use? I read in the forums that only a few will work. Intel Graphics Cards ain't one of them.:mad: Which is what I'm using. *:baby:runs away crying and saying I wasted all that time downloading it!!!!!:baby:*

That's exactly what I use Jonbo, so we can't even have our own Army's game. :(

I'd recommend Gamespot's Download Manager. Somehow, the thing was getting me downloads of between 10k and 30k.(somtimes a smidge more:eek: ) I can't explain how it did, but somehow it was. Almost never have I gotten downloads soo high with IE, I'm lucky to stay about 6 or 7:lol:

Yeah, I can get 800K at Gamespot download, it's because they have speedy fast servers. But they only have demos.

Nvidia... but Gamespy has faster download speeds, so it evens out pretty much.

Cable. I was downloading the Medal of Honor demo and got it. I think it's way too high though, something must have been screwed up. I'm going to try to download another demo today and see if I get that same speed.
