This better not be true or the world's hedgehogs, foxes, echidnas, and egg-shaped men will be held hostage by me until Sega decides otherwise.

In related news, MCVUK had reported previously that the next "new" Sonic title would not bear the "adventure" title, be an XBOX exclusive, and would be announced sometime this summer.

I checked out MCVUK's site and nowhere did I find this info though it's suppose to be in their magazine.
On IGN's Xbox board everyone there didn't believe it. While on their GameCube board everyone there threw hissy fits. Let's just hope it's a screwup on Nintendojo's part.

Xbox has a lot of Sega exclusives you know, more than any console I believe. But the news doesn't sound very credible.

MCVUK game is a UK mag. Supposedly NDojo has a subscription to it. Supposedly...

But their web site just seems to have links to other sites.

Well...Im not going to say what I really think here (that its false) but give some input. Its HIGHLY unlikely that they would release any sonic game for another system and not GameCube. After the success of SA2:B which was the number 1 selling game on cube fore some time. I doubt Sega would mess with what works.

Now it would be more likely that they give xbox, SA1, and then maybe a port of SA2:B later. But to give xbox a new game and dish out an old game for cube. I doubt that. Even though cube is getting an old game.
