NO MORE BAD DAYS FOR CONKER ?
It might be true, but is the source reliable?
Shortly after the release of Conker's Bad Fur Day last year rumours emerged on the Internet suggesting that a sequel to the adult adventure game was already under way at the company. The trademark registration of Conker's Other Bad Day added further fuel to the fire, but no information about the project has since been leaked to the outer world.
Sources close to the British developer have now relayed to Raretopia that while development on the sequel of Conker's Bad Fur Day was indeed started, the game was soon put on hold. The reasons for this are unknown, but it is suspected that the unexpectedly poor sales of the original title were a conclusive factor for the cancellation. At this moment, the group was virtually disbanded, which seems to be standard procedure for a title that fails to meet its sales projections, and the members were moved to other Rare teams.
Another rumour on the Internet alleges that software giant Microsoft has been trying to obtain the exclusivity rights for a Conker's Bad Fur Day title on its Xbox. While Raretopia is unable to debunk this particular rumour, we believe there is a possibility Rare would recommence work on the project if a publisher would take an interest in it. However, it would in all probability be picked up by another development team as the original CBFD group no longer exists.
On a related note, we have also gotten wind of a revelation indicating that the former CBFD designer is managing a new team which after developing a futuristic racer that recently got terminated by the management now is busy working on Rare's first MMORPG.

Hmm...I hope these are false, I loved the little squirrel. He needs more of his raunchy behavior/adventures. To this day, I still think the best boss ever made in any game is The Great Mighty Poo! I want offspring of GMP in the next adventure!
That MMORPG thing makes it sound like Rare might indeed go multi console. But maybe I'm wrong.
