GameStop.com has Steel Battalion for only $199.99 + probably like $150 in oversized shipping charges :D
Anyway, why do I see this as another game that won't sell like Samba de Amigo? Anyway, I'm getting it. This game will own.
Is it coming out to the arcade? Seems to me after seeing it at E3 that it would be much, much, much better suited for the arcade. I won't compain though, when I'm walking around online with the 5 other people who own the game cleaning my windshield with the push of a button.

"Steel Battalion certainly has our interest because its attempting to bring as much of the Battletech experience into the home. Yanking that gigantic controller out of the giant arcade machines has a lot to do with that, because it takes way beyond Rumble Paks and other controller novelties. If the price of the Steel Battalion/controller bundle isn't too prohibitive (it'll cost 19,800 yen in Japan, about $155US at press time) we could be looking at one of the most unique Xbox-only experiences out there. With the potential for online Steel Battalion play just around the corner, either in this version or a sequel, Capcom could be giving Xbox owners the definitive mech combat game."

Capcom is planning to make an online version.
Does it matter? You don't seem to be too interested in the game.

I'll wait until i read a lot of reviews and get some opinion off the boards first before I slap down 2 Bens for 1 game. It does look absolutely fantastic though, and completely innovative. If it lives up to the hype I'll definitely get it. I abstain from voting right now.

You are damn right. But; they wouldn't be selling for such a high price if it didn't cost them a lot of $$$ to make.
