Wonder what the North American boxart for one of the biggest games of the year is going to look like? Nintendojo's got your back, so you can wonder no more.

Super Mario Sunshine drops August 26.
Well, the box art looks quite different.

How lazy can NOA be? They stick the logo and first art pic together and its the boxart. It's probably fake. Anyone could stick those two images together. That japanese one BaB posted is so much better. But on Nintendo of Japan's site there's still no boxart up for SMS.

Well if the american one is the same as the japanese one then that is the actual box art.

Either that box art isn't real, or Nintendo has gotten really sluggish on their box art...:eek3:
Good news, sort of... that wasn't the final box art (stupid Nintendojo). Here is the 99% complete box art from IGN:

Looks a little better I guess, I'm still not a big fan of it though.
That one looks a lot better than the one Nintendojo showed, imo. The "Super Mario Sunshine" text looks better on the bottom, and the thin lines are a nice touch.

you can almost read the words around the ring this time. something about more moves than ever.
i would have done the box differently. gone with more of a water theme. they have water in the ring but barely any. i would have made the water more of a background.

Hmm..If it is 99% complete. What is this 1% that is still to be decided? Sounds odd to say 99% complete.
