If you could live in any time period in the past when and where would you live? Would you want to be a samurai in Japan during the Hanshin Dynasty, a knight fighting for England during midevil times, an eskimo living in Alaska, or a soldier fighting on the battlefield during WWII? Pick any place, any time, and any type of person. You'd still be the same person, but you'd be living in a different time, a different place, and would have a different role in society, so don't say that you'd want to be Einstien, or anything like that. One more thing, make sure to say why you would want to live during that certain time, and place.

Btw, don't say that you want to live where you are now, because that would just be boring. Also, you can't become a king or any other leader like position. Why, you ask? Because I said so! :p

I would be be in the 1960's. I would love to be smoking some ganja at Woostock with thousands of fellow hippies.

Or, I would love to battle for Canada in WWI. Preferably, the Battle of the Sommes.

I would want to be in a Native American tribe before the Europeans came to North America. Native Americans seemed to have things all figured out and lived somewhat calm lives. Also, it would be fun as hell to hunt buffalo. :burger:

Ha.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.

You think that the North America Native tribes lived calm lives? Do you know how many wars were fought on North American grounds before European's took over? Alot... There was something called tribal disputes and battle....

But anyways, I would like to be able to drink water straight from the Great Lakes... that would be sweet.

Umm, I all ready knew that. Native Americans were the only thing my history teacher ever talked about in the 5th grade. I'm just saying that their day to day lives were calm and peaceful. Gathering berries, waiting for that deer to approach as you aim with your bow and arrow, and listening to nature by a stream.

There has been no time period yet that's been entirely calm and peaceful, I just think that the Indians made it so despite of all the tribal disputes, because of their concern about nature.

EDIT: Btw, that's why I said that "they lived somewhat calm lives."

Some tribes ate people. Some tribes would just collect rocks, make arrow heads and stab people with them. Some would cut themselves to paint things. Collecting poision barries, eating uncooked chicken. You name it, they did it.

And they oviously didnt have EVERYTHING figured out seeing as they probably own less the 0.01 percent of america now.

Well, and were slaughterd to death. But it wasnt all slaughter. They were kicked out of east. Only 3,000 were killed on the trail west by natural things.

Well when your society isnt as advanced its hard to over-power somebody. There are still places (like in africa) that are at the point we were oh a thousand years ago (europe anyway). But thanks to the surrounding of other countries and enough money they could develop in a decade.

My guess is that this world would be competely Communist by now, and would most likely remain that way for hundreds of years. With technology progressing so quickly, Communist governments could have cameras everywhere to make sure no group was planning to rebel.
