There are certain moments in wrestling that reaffirm my often waning love of professional wrestling. Tonight had one of those moments that sent shivers up my spine.

Say what you will about The Rock and his limited in ring ability, but tonight when he grabbed that microphone, I got chills. It was simply one of the best promos I have ever witnessed, and like most great promos, it was great because you could tell that he meant it. You could tell it was real.

Tonight The Rock brought me back to wrestling, and thats not to say that I wasn't watching before. But now I'm back as a fan, and not simply as a critic.

Tonight The Rock was magic and he made me 12 years old again.

That was awesome, and that is a perfect example of why I said I watch wrestling- for the great moments, no matter how many bad moments there are.

I loved how they played this Austin thing the whole night, when Austin's music hit before Guerrero came out the crowd went crazy. And finally the nWo is starting to mean SOMETHING again.

I agree that the WWE is finally treating the nWo the way it should have been doen from the beginning. In order for them to work they need to be:

1) Hard asses AS A GROUP, not necessarily individually (X-Pac tuff by himself? HAHAHA!!)
2) Have talent that fits the groups style
3) Be cooler than everyone (too cool for school)

If the WWF follows this and Nash eventually heals up and gets back in the ring, we might have a definite force in the WWE pretty soon.

Well, I can't agree with you. I actually think that WWE television has gotten a lot better. They are using the NWO much better, they've given Hogan a lower level position as he should have, they are pushing younger talent, Benoit is coming back soon, and the Undertaker is doing a great job as a monster heel champ. I've started to love wrestling again, even more so after The Rock's fantastic promo.

The only criticism I have right now is the way they are using Tommy Dreamer.

sure, bob thats why smackdown scored its 2nd lowest rating, and raw's ratings are also going down but not as bad as wackdown.

I fell asleep watching Wackdown.Who really cares about the BORING TripleH vs. Undertaker and Kurt Angle vs. hogan feuds?

Ratings don't always mean that the TV isn't good. ECW had the best wrestling TV in the world in 95 and 96 and they didn't even blip the radar when it came to ratings.

And who's bob?

Most of the time it does because it sucks and people dont want to watch it no more.ECW was never at the top like WWF so they could go down. The ratings are going down and so is the WWF.
