Have you played any of the Lego video games? I was thinking about jumping into one with my wife, for the couch co-op, but not sure which one to go with.

The Lord of the Rings ones look pretty popular, and we love LotR.

They are all pretty similar so my recommendation would be what you said, find a brand you enjoy and go with it

My personal favorite is LEGO City Undercover, but it isn't a co-op game.

And BAB, LEGO City Undercover is getting a re-release on Switch/PS4/etc. and it will have a co-op mode. :)
