Ubisoft, you're a bunch of fools. I was going to buy the game at launch because you've been so supportive of the Wii U... but forget about it. I'll buy it one day when it's heavily discounted, like I did with Rayman Origins.
Good luck competing with GTA V by the way.
Oh and I want to play Rayman Legends on the Gameboy Advance. Can you please delay the other versions while you make that port? Thanks, pleasure doing business with you!

If thats truly the only reason for the delay, just so they can have it release at the same time on all platforms, then that truly is stupid. If the game is done on Wii U release the damn thing then release it for everyone else 6 months later.

Ubisoft have confirmed all that. The game is done and could have been released.
It's pretty amazing to see the developers protest against their employers. I've never seen anything like it in the gaming industry.

The only reason I can think of that they could be doing this is that they want to be able to market all versions at once, instead of advertising now, then advertising again in September.
I think they pushed to September specifically because it's the last month of the third quarter, and probably the last quarter before the new Xbox/playstation comes out.
However, I still feel like they're doing it wrong. Rayman is a pretty niche game. I think all the people on PS3/360 who want it will still buy it when it comes out in September, even if it has been out on Wii U. And there's really not much on the Wii U right now, if someone can put out a half decent game during this dry period they'll probably see a nice return on it.
I understand why they aren't making it exclusive...Wii U sells numbers aren't exactly fantastic, but I think waiting until September is a bad idea. By that point there will probably be a bunch more games out on the Wii U (specifically, Nintendo made games), and Rayman will not stand out as much.

Apparently M$ has this policy for multiplatform games on Xbox 360. A game cannot be released earlier on other consoles than on the 360. Later is of course no problem.
So if that's true, Screwbisoft would delay the Wii U game so they can launch it on the 360.
Which wouldn't have been an issue if they announced the port AFTER the release on Wii U... :(

I kind of hate Microsoft these days. That hatred has grown over time, I used to be an Xbox/Windows fanboy.
Now here in a few days I'm going to own a Macbook and unless something drastic changes with how Live/PSN works, I'm going to get a PS4 instead of the next Xbox as well.

PS3 has WAY better / more exclusives, the online is free, it plays blu-rays, the controller is better, shall I continue? IMO the PS3 is the superior console, hands down.

Ok, the promised Wii U exclusive demo turns out to be a free to download challenge mode. I supposed it's to keep us busy until the real game launches.
I don't know what to think. Free stuff is always nice... but I'm still pissed.
