1. Rank the twelve playoffs team from 12-1.
2. Gain points from wins.
3. Ideally the teams you believe will lose during the wildcard weekend should be 1-4.
4. Profit?

(3) Houston Texans (12-4)
(4) Baltimore Ravens (10-6)
(5) Indianapolis Colts (11-5)
(6) Cincinnati Bengals (10-6)

NFC

(3) Green Bay Packers (11-5)

If the Packers win against the Vikings then they'll have to play the 49ers in the divisional round, which made for a really tough pick. I'd much rather see both of those teams square off in the NFC Championship game.

This Wild Card week is ridiculous. This is an unreal year for the Wild Card. I could easily see Cincinnati, Indy, and Minnesota coming away with victories. I kind of think Seattle will shred Washington, but I don't know.

11. New England
10. Seattle
9. San Fransisco
8. Atlanta
7. Green Bay
6. Indianapolis
5. Cincinnati

Yeah ... I hope Jason posts before the first game tomorrow to clear that up.

Wow, there are rumors that RG3 tore his PCL + ACL and could be out for 14-18 months. Damn.....

That would be devastating if true.

Also, Vikings fans are the best:

That's probably fake, but it's pretty funny. The 8 best teams in the NFL are still in the playoffs, so the Vikings fans shouldn't be too disappointed or surprised.

Looks like the Eagles might be interested in Brian Kelly: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/report-eagles-interviewed-notre-dame-brian-kelly-bcs-021205649--nfl.html

As a ND fan, I hope he stays.

The Germanator

I kinda feel like Kelly is just fishing more more $$$ from the Irish. I still think the Eagles end up with someone like Mike McCoy or Gus Bradley...We just won't know until those coaches are finished with the playoffs.

The Germanator
01-12-2013, 08:15 PM
I guess I was kinda right...Not sure what kinda raise Kelly will get at Notre Dame, but he's staying...and Eagles have interviewed Gus Bradley.

Also, is this Denver/Baltimore game one of the greatest divisional round games of all time? Pretty unbelievable stuff.

That game was amazing. Packers / 49ers is looking good too. So glad we found DuJuan Harris.

Uhh...Kaepernick has got some wheels...2nd half spiraled out of control for the Pack. Oh well. Go Texans and Seahawks??

Interesting hire by the Bears...Sounds like he's been a good QB guru.

I'm starting to get concerned about the Eagles...not sure who they'll end up with now. I thought having Gus Bradley in for a 2nd interview in Philly would clinch it, but he's off to Jacksonville today. We shall see.

EDIT: Holy crap!! Eagles actually hired Chip Kelly! Dude said he was staying in Oregon. Wow, this is a bit of a shocker...Wouldn't have been shocked if it happened a week ago when they first interviewed him, but definitely shocked now...

Whether it all works now will be the question, but right now I'm excited by the hire!

Woah, those are two very surprising hires. I wonder what Kelly will mean for Vick's future?

The Germanator
01-16-2013, 03:20 PM
I still don't think Vick stays...Maybe if it was a 29 year old Vick instead of a 33 year old Vick, or unless he's willing to take a fairly drastic pay cut (guaranteed $15.5 million, nothing if cut by Feb. 6th), I doubt the Eagles keep him.

I could see them trading or drafting for someone that Kelly really likes, but I feel like Vick's injury history, combined with his sub-par play recently, and the fact that apparently owner Jeffrey Lurie never wanted him in the first place...it just seems like Vick is out.

Unless Kelly STILL sees something in him, I dunno. Kelly also publicly gushed over Nick Foles back when Arizona beat Oregon a few years ago, so maybe he sticks with him despite a lack of mobility.

Shoot, I don't know what I'm talking about, I didn't see this move happening today in a million years, though nobody else did either...

Wow, I can't believe New England lost, and BAD. Shut down their trick play and quick snap offense and all of a sudden they aren't so good.

I think Jason has this one in the bag.

I'm actually pretty amazed that the 49ers made it. Go figure.
Gives me a reason to wear my Montana jersey.
