Available August 15th, 2012, Mann vs. Machine lets you and five friends fight a lethal horde of robots on new maps, with the opportunity to upgrade abilities and weapons along the way.

Seems may also get two other features?

That's awesome, I might give it a go.

Now do the same thing with dinosaurs. In a jungle.

*installs the game he bought 5 years ago*
*logs on and finds the new mode is nowhere to be found*
*has to hard-reset his PC because Steam can't handle alt-tabbing*
*uninstalls game*

The mode hasn't been released yet.

Valve Time and all.

They said yesterday, right?

I still hate Steam for making my PC crash so much lately. I played through Episode 2 again a few weeks ago... I think I've had to hard-reset my PC at least 10 times.

Maybe your PC is the problem...

I just downloaded it today. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow... after I give a try to the Guild Wars 2 stress test.

And Angrist, you were playing Portal 2 fine with me. That game is newer than TF2. Also... you might want to check your power supply. My computer used to restart itself when playing games until the PSU gave in and that's how I found that was the problem. Broken pins inside the monitor or gpu can also cause problems that can be hard to figure out. Update your drivers in case some games may cause problems with them. If it's none of that, then you should check out the rest of the computer.

I tried it but didn't like it. Uninstalled the game again. :)

Most games run fine... but I guess updating drivers and cleaning my HDD can't hurt. :)

I don't get the coop mode. It keeps saying I have to buy some tickets or I don't know what in a store. I didn't give it much time but it seems like I'd have to read a good while to get the hang of it. Has anyone played it yet?

It took me a few hours before I finally got into a working game. And then I ended up a spectator. =/

But you should try finding a private server (and not let the game search for you!!! it was broken for me).
