This is inspired by the fact that we are currently in the middle of the Summer Olympics, and curious what are some of your favorite sports movies?
What do you consider sports movies? Like stuff with sports as the centerpiece counts, but someone mentioned Jerry McGuire to me earlier, does that count?

No, I actually like Rudy. It's grown on me over the dozens of times I've seen it. When I watch it I just sort of MST3000 it up now, though.
Because as me and Dylflon established via a telephone communication last week, Rudy wasn't even really a positive story of determination. He put in all that effort to simply play 1 play for the team he liked, and in the end what it really took was the entire team telling the coach they'd quit in order for him to stick around. Think about how heroic that is of them.
Anyways, seriously, some sports movies that come to mind are:
-Space Jam
-Ali
-Kingpin
-Major League
-Caddyshack
-Radio
-The Legend of Baggar Vance

Karate Soccer? I haven't seen it though. I don't like sport movies.
Oh, I like the movie they talk about in Garden State. With the retard quarter back.

Blades of Glory, Talladega Nights. I love Will Ferrell's brand of humor, and these movies are so brilliantly over the top.
Other than that... the Mighty Ducks movies are pretty awesome.
