The mem slots on the GC should have been able to fit GB cartridges. That way a memory card could be inserted in GBA and then used as a virtual memory card unit sort of like Sega's except in 32 bits. You could train characters and such on your GBA instead of all the games that connect. Just an idea that could have worked well. *shrug*

thought i remember a long time ago Nintendo said something very similar to this...

be it not the actual mem card used... I think it was more along the lines of an SD Card adaptor for GB too. so you can use the SD cards in that and GC.

or maybe it was connecting the GB to the GC and downloading the stuff onto a blank cartrige...

blah. dont remember. i THINK it was the SD thing tho.
