Ron Paul

I consider myself fairly strong leftist in my political views, but time and time again I find myself rooting for Ron Paul....

Even if I don't agree with his long term view of "the market will probably sort itself out", even one term of a president throwing some serious dents into the corporate-government love affair could go a long way towards serious changes.

But yeah. I respect Ron Paul's view on government transparency as well as ending some of the corporate-lobbying bullshit.

I also believe Ron Paul has the best understanding of why medical expenses are so high, and how we can begin to fix some of the heath care costs.

(I actually know nothing of Ron Paul. This is my only Ron Paul fact.)

I just can't believe that when he mentioned the golden rule ("Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"), the crowd actually booed him before he was even done that sentence, but they cheered when that giant stretched out baby that is Gnoot Gingrich quoted someone by saying "What did ____ say about America's enemies? Kill them!".


Boo the golden rule.

Gingrich is a hack. Hopefully he wins the primary. Obama would bury him in the general election. Ron Paul has some good view and some stupid views, but he is just not likeable enough. I liken him to my old crazy grandpa.

Romney is the only one I think would have a prayer of a chance (get it?) of beating Obama.
