Weird name, it doesn't have anything to do with Lylat wars. Why not call it Star Wing Adventures: DP or just DP?

Oh yeah, in case you don't know, Nintendo can't use the name Star Fox here because it's registered by some other company or something. Legal crap.

The last time I really got good play out of a star fox game was way back when we had it on SNES... and I forgot like... everything about that game...

With N64, I only played it a couple times at my friend's house... I mean I beat it multiple times, but I never owned it so I didn't play it for 100+ hours like I do most of my games ;)

So yeah I didn't know Lylat was the name of the system... I guess.. or something... :unsure:

I think this is because some obscure Star Fox character already exists in Europe so Nintendo just changed it to Lylat Wars. It's mildly annoying, but the rules are the rules.

There have been worse cases. Like Perfect Dark which is known in Japan as Red and Black(Or something like that). But since that doesn't afect us. :\ And Jet Force Gemini which I forgot how is called in Japan and Europe. But I remember not liking it.

Strange that... on the back of my Australian GCN box (in front of me now, it clearly says: "Star Fox Adventures" as a caption for one of the pics. And in this little brochure (I don't think that's how you spell it, but I had to wake up at 4am this morning) that I got with Smash Brothers the other day (in the case under the instruction book), it has the Star Fox Adventures logo and pics. Maybe it's not Australia that has the copyright problem, because I can see a little TM next to Starfox in this pic. Probably some German company or something. I dunno. But hey, a game's a game. Like Street Gangs or River City Ransom. But I don't know why they hell that one was changed...

The name Lylat Wars Adventures doens't make any sense. The Lylat wars took place years ago. This doesn't have anything to do with the Lylat wars.
They should call it Lylat Adventures.

I think you should be just thankful that your getting the game.:p and be grateful it's just a slight name change instead of a it being cancelled. :p
