Heh... big surprise there.;) Anyway, how is FF10 for those that have played it? I'm hearing mixed reviews. Some say it's the best in the series, and others have said that it wasn't that good. I saw the opening cinema and the graphics on it don't look up to par with other PS2 games I've seen.

I think it's one of the best... up there with FF7...

As for the graphics... in some areas it may not be up to par with other PS2 games... facial expressions are kinda blah and such... but some of the enviornments, IMO, look really good... like just a select few areas are really cool... like you get to the calm lands and you see way far across the big plains... or this one part in Besaid where you can see a ways down a path that runs along the side of a cliff that has a couple of waterfalls along with lots of plants and stuff swaying in the breeze...

and then there's this one temple (you gotta use a chocobo to get there... it's in the calm lands) where you first enter, and it's way in the distance, but you see it and it's big with little spires or whatever sticking up around it...

Anyways... :D

Yes... more replay value... :D

You said that already though (well, "Get GTA3", that is)

Anyways... I have like... 120 hours of FFX saved on my memory card... I have 2 saved games...

And I dunno how many hours I have on GTA3 (and even if they had a timer, it wouldn't be accurate cuz of all the times I was just screwing around and didn't save)... but it has to be more than 130 :p

But Bluefire loves his Final Fantasy, and he's Tidus' bitch, so....

Of course. I shall get GTA3...:D

Maybe not immediately..probably steal it from my friend. :sneaky: or maybe I'll buy it at CompUSA, since that's the only place I've seen it available. :D

It's only because I'm mainly an RPG gamer, but I do still like many other games, but GTA3 is just shoot, kill, steal a car, do a mission... I find it boring.

And RPGs are just run around and get in battles while following a storyline... your point? ;)

Nah I'm just kidding... it's your opinion and all... But the way you described GTA3 even sounds boring to me... but I mean when you add in that there's a big city to explore with lots of things to find and do and lots of areas to err kill people in... lots of cars to drive... police to chase you... even a lil' plane to fly... It sounds a bit better...

Just like when you add to my little RPG thing... Add in all the sidequests and... stuff...

If you buy a Ps2 and don't get GTA3, you don't deserve it. I'll personally get somebody round to steal it off you.........GTA3 style :p

Actually it's coming out on PC soon, so maybe you can get that version. Whichever you prefer.

Get FFX, MGS2.

SH2 if you like freaky games. Tekken 4/VF4 if you like fighting games.

Don't get DMC or Onimusha, I think they are lame. Poor voice acting, typical "Capcom" bodged gameplay (the enemies are always the same, and it gets WAY repetitive). Just feels like there's no substance in their adventure type games. That's MO newayz, so see what you think before hand. You might like them

Ps2 is one of my favourite consoles. It has everything you could want from a console.

GTA3 is already out on PC... at least here it is :p

BLuefire said something like he doesn't need to buy SH2 or MGS2... he can just like borrow them from a friend or whatever... cheap bastard :sneaky: J/K :D

I hated VF4... I mean it was kinda fun at first, and it SOUNDED good, but the learning curve (IMO) was waaaay too high... as was the difficulty.... changing... stuff.... like in the... I forgot the name of it... the main single player mode... Kumokobolawokofoshoko... It starts out really easy, then gets way too hard way too fast... But I dunno, a lot of people like it... *shrugs*

And I recommend renting DMC... I thought it was a good rent... It was crazy fun action... and while it did get repetitive after awhile and I didn't feel like playing it after I've beaten it... umm... well that's why you rent it and not buy it :D

And I thought Onimusha was pretty good... I didn't get to beat it during the rental period cuz I was too lazy and didn't play my usual 15 hours a day ;) But I thought it was fun... it's basically like RE gameplay... but instead of guns, you use swords... and you suck up the little energy balls the enemies let out and you can upgrade your weapons and such... err kinda like in DMC :D But yeah... Onimusha 2 is coming out in Fall, too... wow...

bye bye

Yeah, thats true. One thing that would make GTA even better would be the ability to actually enter buildings and stuff, in gta3 its just the outside sctructures of things, and other than people and cars, the game isnt really interactive that much, but if you were able to walk into a house and kill a family while they're eating their supper, well, it'd make GTA a lot better, imo.
