I was paying my phone bill today and found out the store's location is shutting down so they're selling everything 2 for 1. I can't resist a bargain.

So anyways, I got this game on a whim, thought the concept was pretty cool.
I've played a few single-player levels of it, and I'm actually 100% diggin' this game.

It's extremely arcade-y, but that's a bonus in my eyes. Too many FPS' are trying for ultra-realism these days.
Any FPS that promotes itself by saying "Run more than you shoot" earns my attention for a good 'ol college 'try'.

Basis of the game; world floods, floating city [The Ark] gets moved to avoid over-habitation which occurs anyways. So essentially the game is a civil war between the people who already lived in the city/ the police force trying to enforce order, and the refugee' who've been treated like shit/live in slums and think the best way forward is to escape The Ark and try find new land.

The parkour aspect of the game, while pretty gimmicky at first is done pretty well. It took a level or two to get used to, but it's not clunky or hard to use. you just hold your sprint button, and run into objects; as long as your body type allows it you'll just automatically vault over things. You can also vault then jump to higher locations - it's a little hard at first to get used to the distance you can jump and slide, but it sort of becomes second nature if you play a bit.

The game is super squad-oriented. It's almost impossible to take on a squad of enemies alone. You practically [i]need to stay near your squad in order for everyone's buffs to play properly off one another.
The objective system is done pretty well, too. Only specific classes (Soldier, Medic, Engineer, Operative [Spy]) can do a specific objective (You can switch classes at any time during a game at a special station.). It really makes every class important at every minute of each match.

The one thing I'm not a fan of though is that there's no cover system. But that's not enough to destroy this game, in my eyes.

Plus graphically, the game doesn't look that bad. It's done in an interesting style. Everyone sort of looks like they could also be a Terran from SC. But that's cool. It's a neat look. And the customization is pretty cool, too.

I have no idea how many (Or most likely how few) people are playing this game online. I would however say this game is a pretty solid rent. I'm not displeased that I have it.

I own it for PC and my desktop is dead. But I liked it. It wasn't perfect but it was enjoyable. I just didn't have time to get to know all the weapons that well and got bored leveling my character and falling victim to the people with a maxed character. I would still play it if I had the time to learn it well (and a working gaming desktop) but for now, games in which every one has exactly the same characteristics (like Halo) are what's in for me. I'll definitely go back to it when I have lots of time on my hands.
