I should be able to afford it thanks to the new job but I honestly don't think I should. I'm taking advantage of the increased pay to take care of some credit card debt I've had for some time now.

Arkham City and Dark Souls are more important releases on my calendar. I'd say the same for Gears of War 3 but I don't know if I want to get the game without having a Gold subscription, another thing I shouldn't really be spending on right now.

I'm in job-search limbo which will hopefully be resolved within the next few weeks...and if it does this is definitely on my list, because I have a raging hard-on for anything Zombies.

Got an 8 on IGN. Lost points for a boring opening and some texture issues and that was about it, so id say this is a go for anyone who was on the fence.

They're saying they accidentally sold the developer's version to steam users. No word on if the retail PC version is bugged or not.

EDIT: Apparently they're saying it's on the 360 and PS3 as well. Trolololol.

According to the GameTrailer reviews, there were a lot of known bugs, but they were gonna fix it with a day 1 patch.

There are some practices this gen, I absolutely hate. Ship as it is, we'll fix it whenever, is by far the worst.

Been playing for a couple hours now, having lots of fun breaking zombie heads in.
Havnt encountered any glitches yet.

Yes its still virus free.
Any dev copy wouldnt install viruses, and I highly doubt they even had enough dev copies, if any, for every person who bought it on the 360.

So after reading reviews and learning some more about the game, I was geared up to go buy it this afternoon.

Then I found out you can't do offline split screen coop.

Way to go game developer, you're the latest in a long line to lose a sale for not including a feature that was standard on the Nintendo 64.

Should it surprise you? Couch co-op hasn't been particularly condoned this gen for a multitude of (monetary) reasons.

Borderlands did it. Left 4 Dead did it. And Borderlands 2 is going to have split screen co-op that also lets you play online with other people.

I'll save my money for the people who know what they're doing.

I'm not saying that people don't do it at all, I feel you man. Just saying people are looking at the industry with money goggles on, not fun goggles. Although that might be a bit unfair because there are still some people who value their customers (or at least give the appearance that they do).
