Yea, I saw this. What an idiot. Hopefully she runs for president and somehow wins the primary. Talk about a slam dunk for Obama.

I'm sure she'll say she was out with her children and wasn't prepared for the question

She won't run ... now if only she would go away.

I'm sure she'll say she was out with her children and wasn't prepared for the question

Considering the only preparation one needs to answer the question is a THIRD GRADE EDUCATION that excuse would be hysterical.

What does everyone think of the current Republican field? Romney looks like the only somewhat formidable candidate to me. I like Huntsman (if he declares) quite a lot, and he might be able to challenge Obama. Perry would be an interesting addition.

My opinion is.. the Republicans need to get a populist, or they'll be in for another spanking. Someone who will agree with Obama's main populist stances (mainly: raising taxes), and be able to rightfully throw Obama under the bus for doing exactly what Bush did. If they get someone like this, the republicans will win.. if not, and they get the anti-leftist anti-obama anti-reason canidate again, guess we're geting 8 years of Obama.

I can forgive politicians for not having great Rote Memory....lord knows I don't remember 95% of the history crap I learned in school. And I couldn't tell you any specifics about Paul Revere other than he warned us that the Brits were coming.

BUT JEBUS! You'd think that people would learn how to DEFUSE THE FUCKING SITUATION. Instead of pulling stuff out of your ass, why not just be honest?

"I don't know." Or better yet, "I don't know, because as an adult I don't waste time memorizing grade school rote stories because I have real issues to worry about like multiple wars and a global economic crisis."

See? Was that so bad. At worst she would have been in the news for one day. Now she will be made fun of for the next week or two...possibly SNL, etc.

She needs to fire her publicist and her speech trainer.

The smart response to this situation would have been: "You know, I was caught off guard a little by the question and fumbled the answer. Happens to the best of us when the cameras are on us 24/7."

Instead, we got what we always get from Palin: Indignant, prideful ignorance.

Weiner Gate is now slightly more entertaining than the Palin gaf:
