Some of them I didn't really have specifics for. The ones that weren't specific I tried to diversify so that you could get a clearer picture of what a play besides "Zelda, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mass Effect, Zelda, Zelda." I tried to sneak in a few other games I've enjoyed at least recently.

Also, I didn't do the ones that asked for pictures.

Day 1 - Your First Video Game:
This is a toughie, I remember it being Super Mario Bros 2, but I know had experience with my older brothers playing Castlevania on the NES as well/

Day 2 - Your favorite character:
Super Mario, who didn't see this coming? I mean the man has a near perfect record when it comes to platformers. And a ton of excellent spin-off titles.

Day 3 - A game that is underrated:
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. A real hidden gem of the last generation. Was a combination Zelda/Mario/Wario Land type game, that really came together.

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game:
WWE games, namely the Smackdown games. I say every year how bad they are, and every year I end up buying them.

Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were):
Nathan Drake, only in the sense that we both use humor to deal with much greater problems than actually facing them head on.

Day 1 - Your First Video Game: Super Mario Bros. I remember first watching my sister and my mom playing the first three SMB games.

Day 1 - Your First Video Game: Probably some old Mac or IBM (Monochrome Green/Black) game. Maybe Pong? I remember playing Centipede as a kid and Donkey Kong. But I remember some sort of number game back on the old IBM machine. And of course Mac games in 1st and 2nd grade, and Commander Keen on my home machine (DOS). Shit, I'm kind of sad that I cannot remember my first game. But it was ages ago.

Day 2 - Your favorite character: Jebus who knows. Maybe Link? I always enjoyed Banjo and Kazooie.

Day 3 - A game that is underrated: Heh, Banjo and Kazooie. And No One Lives Forever.

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game: Peggle; any "casual" game like Plants vs. Zombies.

Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were): I like the quiet, nameless heros. So Link or Gordan Freeman.

Day 6 - Most annoying character: Navi.

Day 7 - Favorite game couple: Master Chief and Cortana (this one is hard, I'll have to come back to this)

Day 8 - Best soundtrack: Halo is pretty epic...Left 4 Dead....and Majora's Mask is good too. GTA but does that count?

Day 9 - Saddest game scene: Parts of Halo Reach are pretty sad

Day 10 - Best gameplay: Stupid...do I go by genre?

Day 11 - Gaming system of choice: PC, by far.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play: The original Super Mario Bros. Someday I will make my grandkids play that shit.

Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times: Super Mario Bros., NOLF, Halo

Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper: Portal

Day 18 - Favorite protagonist: Zombies, The Devil (Diablo), Flood (Halo), Government (Half-Life 1), H.A.R.M.

Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in: Vice City, hahaha

Day 20 - Favorite genre: FPS

Day 21 - Game with the best story: Hard to say. The Halo arc is good, the Zelda arc is good, Half-Life has a good story, there are countless RPGs....NOLF has a good story....I can get back to this I suppose

Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you: Halo 2, Deus Ex: Invisible War, all the Twisted Metal games post-2 sans Black, every Metal Gear Solid sequel, all the shitty 3D Sonic Games (all of them!)

Day 23 - Game you think had the best graphics or art style: Jet Set Radio Future, Wind Waker, Pikmin

Day 24 - Favorite classic game: Zelda: Link's Awakening

Day 25 - A game you plan on playing: L4D/L4D2

Day 26 - Best voice acting: NOLF

Day 27 - Most epic scene ever: Diablo 2 and Starcraft Cutscenes, parts of Halo, parts of Half-Life

Day 28 - Favorite game developer: Valve

Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving: So many...Pikmin, Roge Squadron 3D...there's many more

haha yup, I was hammering out my responses in notepad before dashing off to my destination.

I could probably sink some more thought into some of those. And I am baffled that I cannot remember my first game. There was the obvious stuff like NBA Jam and Sonic back on Genesis, and a whole lot of SNES stuff. The NES escaped me, but I am younger than some of you folks. And there were a bunch of old PC games. I had this old PC game that ran off of the huge 5" floppys and came with some 3D glasses. That shit was epic.

Day 6 - Most annoying character:
This is a multi-way tie, but for all the same reasons.
Navi from Ocarina of Time.

The radio conductor from Dead Rising


Day 7 - Favorite game couple:
Nathan Drake and Elena
Their relationship seems the most human since it isn't all lovely dovey and they do seem to have a history beyond just saving the other.

Day 8 - Best soundtrack:
I'm gonna cheat and say Super Smash Bros Brawl...
If that doesn't count, I'm just gonna say Sonic Colors was extremely impressive.

Day 9 - Saddest game scene:
Perhaps more touching than sad, but Mordin singing in Mass Effect 2.

Day 10 - Best gameplay:
The super Mario series, if I had to pick one, would be Super Mario bros 3.

Day 2 - Your favorite character: Link. He doesn't speak, but I think that has allowed me to form a closer emotional bond to him, especially in Ocarina of Time

Day 3 - A game that is underrated: Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. I wish more people had bought and played this game, I would have loved to have seen a sequel.

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game: Lusternia (http://www.lusternia.com). It's an MMO text mud that enjoys a strong nerd stigma even among nerds.

Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were): Red from Pokemon Red/Blue. He IS me.

Hmm, I would go with the Ratchet and Clank series. One of the few gaming franchises that actually gets humor.

Yeah, he doesn't talk much, but the man takes pride in his work, always doing it with a smile and a cheer.

Fable III. This game was actually kind of terrible, which is extremely disappointing as Fable 2 is one of my all time favorites.

I love the way Fable II and III look.

Final Fantasy Tactics. I think games from that era should count as a classic at this point.

Portal 2

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, the running up a rocket scene.
Is it ridiculous? Hell yeah! Is it awesome? You bet your sweet arse it is.

Day 28 - Favorite game developer:
EAD Tokyo
Twas far a perfect 3 for 3 in Galaxy 1/2 and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat

Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving:
Borderlands
I think only bought because of the GiantBomb quicklook but damn was that game good

Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time:
Super Mario Bros 3
The Galaxy games are up there, but only one game has been a consistent for nearly 20 years.

I've always thought the final Warthog escape sequences in the Halo games were really epic.

Blizzard. Their stuff is always top notch quality.

Plants vs Zombies

Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time:
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Changed my most disappointing game to Fable III. It was so bad I eradicated it from my memory, I think.

Day 2 - Your favorite character: It's a tie between Link and Samus.

Day 3 - A game that is underrated: Spyborgs, House of the Dead: Overkill and Red Steel 2

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game: Team Fortress 2

Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were): Chell (silent and having to past tests all of the time)

Day 6 - Most annoying character: The Scout from TF2 although that's kind of what's cool about him.

Day 7 - Favorite game couple: The two from Zelda: Majora's Mask. But I don't pay attention to these kind of things so I forgot their names.

Day 8 - Best soundtrack: Nice one! This is a tie between RE2 and Phantasy Star Online Ep 1&2. Both set the mood perfectly.

Day 9 - Saddest game scene: None.

Day 10 - Best gameplay: Too open a question here. These are the games I revisit from time to time: Link to the Past, Portal, OOT, Golden Eye, Soul Calibur and SH2.

Day 11 - Gaming system of choice: The SNES had the most diversity of games and the most imagination in any era. Ofcourse this includes the Genesis too but my choice is the SNES.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play: Silent Hill 2, Portal and Link to the Past.

Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times: Zelda: Ocarina of Time and RE2.

Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper: Conduit 2.

Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes: For some reason I haven't had to play too many games with Cutscenes but more of the games that have the story develop as you play them. I don't know... Soul Blade has the best into ever?

Day 17 - Favorite antagonist: Glados [<3]

Day 20 - Favorite genre: A tie between Survival Horros and Adventure.

Day 21 - Game with the best story: Silent Hill 2

Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you: RE3 was the worst RE game IMO. Guidl Wars Factions expanded on the pvp and had mediocre pve. The PVP didn't need any improvement and was hard to improve on.

Day 23 - Game you think had the best graphics or art style: Team Fortress 2

Day 24 - Favorite classic game: Zelda: Link to the Past

Day 25 - A game you plan on playing: Conduit 2 and Brink.

Day 26 - Best voice acting: Ellen Mclain (Glados), JK. Simmons (Cave Johnson) and Stephen Merchant (Wheatley) taught everyone how to do right on Portal 2.

Day 27 - Most epic scene ever: The dragon burning down Ganon's castle the first time you fight him in Wind Waker was nice.

Day 28 - Favorite game developer: Valve atm, I always like how Nintendo keeps their gold standard on their main franchises.

Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving: Silent Hill 1. I thought it'd be a cheap "me too" survival horror game trying to imitate RE.

Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time: Either Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time. Gotta admit it was because I was young. But they were ahead of their time.
