Monitors

My monitor is about to die and need to buy a new one very very soon. I was wondering what everyone here uses, how long they've had theirs, and if they've experienced any problems.

I currently have a Hanns-G one which was the best reviewed monitor for the price at Newegg.com. Now if it's off for an while and I turn it on it turns off again. Then I have to turn it on again. And then it turns off again. After many attempts it will finally stay on. Everyday it takes longer to stay on. Looked up this problem and seems this happened to a number of folks after about 3 years. Soon it won't stay on at all.

So yeah, dunno if can trust user reviews without them having owned the particular model for a few years. How are your monitors?

No problems with Samsung 226BW after 3.5 years.

I have a Dell something or other, only reason I bought it is because I work for Dell and have a discount. No problems so far.

I would probably have gotten a Samsung if I didn't have the discount though - they make really good monitors and TV's.
