Why do they call it Streetview when it's clearly just a bunch of (professional) photographs? I can only find a couple of traditional 'street' views.

They call it streetview because this function is used primarily for streets. If you look at the United States, you can view a good amount of the streets using that function. There are locations in Europe and Australia as well that have it. There could be more locations in the world, but I'm just not aware of them. But, basically, that's why they call it street view. And yes, it's a bunch of photographs every few feet, so it's basically as if you're on the street driving along.

By the way. If you download Google Earth, you can go to Mars, the Moon, and the Sky. If you go on the Moon, you can zoom into the landings and use the "streetview" function to see actual pictures taken on the moon, in the exact locations they were taken.

Eh you didn't understand me right. I know what Streetview is, my house is on there.

But most of the Antartica stuff isn't a 360° picture every few meters. Same for Mars and the Moon apparently. I like what they provide, but I think they shouldn't advertise other pictures as Streetview.

You're right.
There is clearly some type of lawsuit that should be brought to the attention of professional photographers and the people who invented Streetview.

Finally somebody who understands me. Together we will bring them down!!
Could you also help me with the lawsuit I'm having against my neighbour? The bastard once had his radio so loud that I could hear it.

Are you trying to counter-sarcasm my initial sarcasm?

Are you trying to talk your way out of this by asking complicated questions?

Okay, that is a good point. If the individual pictures were taken with the 360 degree camera, then it would make sense. But these are just regular pictures spaced everywhere. I don't know what the deal is. I'm assuming they used the same camera, but they didn't take a shot of the whole area. Instead it looks like they just wanted to take pictures of penguins.

See that Typhoid? You and me are winning the lawsuit!
Even Phoenix Wright agrees. http://objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=4355748
