Hei from Norway!

Hey all, are you going on vacation this year?
Last Sunday I traveled with my family to Denmark. From there I took a train through Sweden to Norway. I'm in the capital city Oslo right now. The way here so far has been pretty crazy and fun. Have you ever been on a sleeping train? It took me 3 hours to fall asleep. :(

In a few hours I'm taking a train to the west, where I'll hike in nature for a few days. (It's the reason I'm wearing this incredibly heavy bag with me.) Then I'll take a ferry through a fjord and then eventually back to Oslo for some sightseeing.

This is the first time I'm on vacation on my own.

The first time I took a train (Aside from the skytrain) was a couple years ago when I'd take it to commute downtown for school and to bartend. Trains are pretty cool. Not enough time to sleep though, it was only a 30 minute train ride, including stops.

I don't think I'm going on vacation this year. The lack of work due to the car accident leads to a very large lack of funds. So most of my everything will have to be things that not only don't require much movement on my part, but also no money.


You should be taking pictures while you're there, too.
