Due to some issues with Garageband (since the only Mac I have is very old and I had to set it up to keep the convenience of chapters in our podcast) (you're welcome by the way), it was a little delayed but it's finally here!

The Nerds are back again this week with a very special guest! We’ve got animé on top, a little survey on how horse armor has improved the way we play our games (or not), and a little cocktail chatter with some Steve Jobs love/hate. This is a long one (that’s what she said!) so grab a friend, take a seat and pour yourselves some drinks, and enjoy some Nerds on the Rocks!

How in-depth do you go over FMA:B? Still have to yet to finish watching it.

Not very much at all. There are probably some spoilers, but we didn't get as much into it as I would have liked. For the sake of maintaining the awesomeness, I'd probably skip through the FMA discussion(not sure when it ends).

Great podcast guys! Love the transitions, we put it down in this episode. :)

I had to rename it to not have the ".mp3" at the end.

does not currently work at the moment if you just press play without downloading + renaming.

for the Full Metal Alchemist fans you will want to skip to about 8:20 in the podcast if you want to avoid that discussion :)

It's an m4a link. If it tries to play or download as an mp3 it's because the browser doesn't support m4a. The preferred way to listen to this podcast is to use iTunes really.

I'll ask the same question I asked of Magus over chat: how come you guys never curse this much when I'm around? That was pretty fun. And it is listed as an explicit podcast after all.

Four people definitely seems to be the magic number in this podcast. There's more give and take in the discussion. And five is probably preferable.

I wasn't aware that Rockband Mics double for computers. The whole USB thing never clicked in my mind.
If I can steal myself one sometime soon, I can join in on a podcast or two, as long as it's not heavy on the game industry itself [opposed to games].

Well listening to an ep or two we usually get in depth on one thing about a game or the industry and not into much else, but there's also plenty of other things we discuss obviously.

Also, the issue with downloading the file is resolved for people that are using Firefox and Safari 4. If you're using Chrome or IE then you need to rename the file if you're downloading. It's an issue with the way the browser handles MIME types for m4a files. Chrome defaults to audio/mpeg which Chrome assumes is an mp3 while IE8 just doesn't work (not surprised). It's supposed to be audio/x-m4a but Chrome says neg to that. Hope that clears things up.
