Hello everybody,
Forgive me for the lame Forum post title. I am pretty exhausted right now (have only got 4 hours sleep last night) and I just wanted to say hello to the GameTavern Community. I look forward to getting to know all of you here and participating in discussions of all kinds.
A quick background on who I am: I have been a gamer since age 3 (started with Nintendo NES) and I have touched just about every game system but have also been a serious PC gamer since age 14 around the time of the golden age of PC gaming during the 90s.
I write for www.DualShockers.com and am also a Contributing Editor there handling various responsibilities and it is my passion and love to be all about gaming.
I am a pretty open minded person. I can handle just about anything you can throw at me discussion wise, so don't be shy. You can get in touch with me more directly if you want on AIM my screen name is jon@dualshockers.com
I also want to let everyone know that this weekend I will be giving away Medal of Honor Beta codes on DualShockers.com (for those who don't already have one) now that they are a bit more rare again (Best Buy ran out) so definitely be sure to check us out if that is of any interest to you.
I am featured on the latest NoTR Podcast and had a great time recording with the guys. I hope to attend future recordings as well and always enjoy a good gaming conversation. We at DualShockers also have a ShockCast which airs on Fridays and a new DualCast (all role playing all the time) podcast which airs on Mondays so if you find the time to listen to that in addition to the NoTR/Dual Wielding then go for it. :)

I am also attending college right now for my Bachelor's in Game and Simulation Programming as well as working on independant learning in games development and design and enjoy discussing all things in the terms of the business and art of game creation. I am a consumer, a gamer, an aspiring developer/publisher, and much much more so get to know me if you feel like it.
I know there is more I have left out but I have to get running for now.
