Auditory Synesthesia

My Dad has synesthesia, but not that kind. He sees colours when he hears music.
I'm the same way with certain music/tones/notes.

I'd hate to have synesthesia. A friend knows someone with it and they just say it's super irritating. It's the kind of thing that might be fun to have for a day, but would really bug me if I had it all the time.
