Are a lot of people from Montana illiterate or do they just not have internet yet?

He told me he's camping out in the woods, so I'm guessing he has no reception. Or he just decided he would rather commune with nature for a while than read the Internet. He hasn't been online at all in the past week.

I'm sure he'll be back next week and really appreciative of all the well wishes. But in the meantime, he has no idea that I'm here calling him a dirty Apple hippy with an unkempt goatee.

Oops, did I say that out loud?

So he's not reading any of this?

Because let's admit it, thatmariolover is a total homo.

Edit:

So seriously though, I was without internet or AT&T phone signal for most of the trip. Visited Yellowstone (stayed in Red Lodge) and Glacier (stayed near Whitefish). Had some great local beer (and surprisingly, coffee) and kinda didn't want to leave.

Story time. While in northern Montana I was taking a walk by myself on a trail near our cabin. I'm about a half mile down the trail and I hear some rustling off to my right hand side. I don't think much of it and continue on, but as I proceed I hear it again. So I decide to look for whatever this animal is, because it's getting closer and that doesn't generally happen. All I can see is this round black/gray shape, about 18" tall lumbering towards me through the underbrush.

At this point, I'm kinda mentally preparing myself for this encounter - making a list of animals it could be. I'm thinking wolverine, racoon, that sort of thing. And all of the sudden, an effing owl leaps out onto the path. Tail feathers spread out behind it like a peacock, wing feathers plumed back to add to the size effect. The eyes were huge, and orange, and it screached as it charged. The head stayed completely still as the body bobbed back and forth while it ran. Jibblies.

This is not the same kind of owl but it's about as close as I could find on Google. Needless to say, I ran like a sissy girl after seeing how fast that thing could move (almost as fast as me on the ground!).

Haha!
When me and Dylfon (among other people) were walking through a dark forest trail late at night to film a couple scenes for a music video, they were all stoned and paranoid. Then we started hearing these weird sounds you don't normally hear. So they start getting all nervous [because they're high], and we're all joking that it's a pack of 'Raptors' and whatnot. Then we look to a tree on our right [maybe 10 feet away] and there are 2 owls just sitting there staring directly at is. Then another swoops towards them, and they fly away. We all make the ooh's and aah's that you'd expect at a fireworks show, walk away - and then we notice they were following and flanking us. :ohreilly:

Technically owls are raptors. *pushes up glasses*

That's what I said at the time.
