After a pretty solid first 5 months of the year, gaming pretty much comes to a halt during the summer.

Let's take a look at the big key releases this summer.
July really only has Crackdown 2 and Dragon Quest IX, both of which is released this week.

There are some other releases sprinkled throughout the month, but nothing major.

And August is home to
Metroid Other M, Madden 11, Kane and Lynch 2 and MAfia 2

So really only personally interested in Crackdown and Metroid.

So most of my summer will be used on clearing a backlog. Beat the Force Unleashed the other day. Working on Klonoa. Trying Dead Space

What about you?

Other than Halo Reach and Metroid, there isn't really anything I want to buy this year, so I'm working through my backlog as well.

Primarily going through Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and going to finish up Dragon Age: Awakening.

Then I may start on some Mario Galaxy.

I'm in a similar boat, though I have a bit more on my plate
I want Reach, Metroid, Epic Mickey, Kirby, DKC and will probably get Goldeneye.

Then there is a bunch of maybes, NBA Jam, Crackdown, Batman: Brave and the Bold.

I'm trying to work through some of my Wii games. I finished Sin and Punishment: Star Successor thankfully since it was short, and now I'm getting through No More Heroes.

I was playing RE5 local co-op with takegiantsteps, and tgs, RagedHybrid and I are getting through NSMB Wii together. After I finish up the RE5 DLC with tgs, I'm getting done with 3D Dot Game Heroes, and at some point Silent Hill Homecoming with tgs since we're both SH fans and he doesn't have it for 360.

Afterwards, who knows but my PS3 gaming backlog is pretty long, not gamewise but time required to finish games. Most are RPGS.

Including Demon's Souls, Eternal Sonata, and Star Ocean: Last Hope International.

I don't know of any games coming out in the Summer that have me excited.
Because of not being able to work I'm pretty strapped for money, so I'm also not really looking - because I don't want to get worked up for something I won't be getting.

That said, the only 2 things I'm pumped for that are coming out soon-ish are NHL 11 [I'm pumped for the changes], and Halo: Reach.

Just borrowed Fable II this weekend. I heard Pirates is a lot like it, so I'm going to give it a shot.

Still working on Super Mario Galaxy 2. About 68 stars now. Sin and Punishment II is still in its wrapper but I'm going to play that directly after.

I've got Darksiders still wrapped for Xbox - I picked that up for $20. I already beat Transformers and RDR, but I'm going to try out some multiplayer when I find my free Live card.

For PS3, I'm finishing 3D Dot Game Heroes at work. I'm working on Split Second and Demon Soul's at home.

Handheld wise, nothing after Peace Walker. Only reading on the train. I think I'll have to man up and finish Golden Sun: The Lost Age, though. And I should probably put Pokemon Diamond to bed some time.

I beat Gears of War 2, for what may be the 4th or 5th time since a friend wanted some help going through it.

Played some Uncharted 2 co-op, which I wish were longer, but eh.

Hmm what else
