tgs is taking the plunge with me too.
Still as fun as I remember it, and it really makes me wonder now what would have happened if they had taken more time to make it a true Wii game instead of a GCN port.
Skyward Sword had better not disappoint.
I just got through the Lakebed Temple. TP had one of my top-tier Zelda boss battles, Stallord.

Wish this game didn't look horrendously blurry and low res on my HD tv. I am not a shallow person at all when it comes to graphics in games, but it really is horrible to the point that I can't really play it.

This thread reminds me I still haven't beaten this game.
I'm at a sand temple [or something], got stuck one day and haven't touched it since. That was many, many months ago.
Maybe I should dust off the Wii, and also beat Mario Galaxy while I'm at it.

I agree. Widescreen and progressive scan didn't do the game many favors, but I also still attribute that to the fact that it's just a port in nature.
It kinda blows my mind that Twilight Princess was the penultimate in graphics for Gamecube (barring Metroid Prime) and it's merely ok for Wii. Compared to Super Mario Galaxy 2, there's no competition.
Why are 3rd parties sucking so terribly? The only game I've seen come close is No More Heroes 2.
Graphics aside, I loved Twilight Princess and would definitely play through again. I finished it on my old SDTV and I'd really like to get back into it.
Wind Waker's music also sounds fantastic on my speakers.

I started replaying it but then I suddenly got a huge load of new games. I think I didn't even make it to the first temple.

I just made it into the Gerudo Desert. I'm so looking forward to the next boss. It's probably one of my all time favorite Zelda bosses. Ever.

Hey, that reminds me, I want to go back and play through this game, too. That Mega Stalfos boss is awesome, even if it does require a tool that you never use again.
And I want to collect all the heart pieces and all the golden bugs. Although that little girl is creeeeeeepy...

Whatever, her "happiness" gives me more money. I can dig.

So I'm collecting poes. Does anybody know if there's any way to turn day into night quickly? Sometimes I'm ending up sitting under a tree with Epona watching the sun cross the sky.

Sweet game and a good idea. Would be fun to play again if I could find the time.

Zelda could use bosses that are more like in Monster Hunter. Ones that hunt you throughout the whole level... or who flee when they're wounded.

I like the sound of that, Angrist. Not for every dungeon, but they could definitely make one unique in that fashion.

Actually they should borrow ideas from other games for their bosses.
Maybe one that chases you through a dungeon like Nemesis in RE 3 until you get the weapon to defeat him.
Maybe a giant enemy, that Link is scaling as he makes his way through the dungeon.
A boss that attacks you outside of a dungeon to prevent you from getting in.
