ARGH
I didn't mind him ruining people's childhood with Transformers, but argh

"Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes remake factory will be serving up turtles on the half-shell (does that even make sense?) for Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, who have brought the outfit in to handle their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles redux.

Deadline reports that the go-to-guys at Platinum Dunes, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, will produce the live-action picture along with Bay, Galen Walker and Scott Mednick. The team will start meeting with writers in June.

TMNT represents a new direction for Platinum Dunes, which has typically specialized in horror remakes in the past, including the recent A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th reboots"

That's a bummer. Everything Michael Bay touches turns to...Well, it's definitely not gold. I suppose box office-wise he does great, which is why he gets to keep making movies, but chances are it will probably suck. TMNT deserves better.

If it turns half-cgi like Transformers, that's probably going to be a no-watch. And of course, if it turns out a cheap action movie.

That image doesn't work, Prof. S. EDIT: There it goes.

It makes me sad that Michael Bay can keep making movies, and even more sad knowing that it is fellow humans buying tickets to his *cough* films that keep him doing so.
