This is only a rumour, but second time it has popped up.

That Team Ico bundle that sneaked its way onto the internet? It’s real, TheSixthAxis has been told this morning, and it’s due Q1 2011.

We don’t currently have much other details that we can spill, and for obvious reasons we’re branding this a rumour, but our source not only confirmed that Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will be heading our way on a Blu-ray disk for the PS3, but also that we won’t see the double pack until the beginning of next year.

Sony declined to comment on the date and details when we asked them.

It would be within the realm of reason for them to release it to hype up The Last Guardian similar to what they did with GoW Collection.

Though this would also put the Last Guardian in Q1 at earliest, but most likely Q2 of 2011.

And would most likely get a minor graphical bump like GoW Collection

Words can't describe how beautiful Shadow of the Colossus was.. I have so many nice memories of it. And I'm guessing Ico was similar to that in art.

So this collection seems a pretty good deal.

I wish I had the time to play games like I used to.. (I had to harvest the Little Sisters in Bioshock 2 just so I could complete the game quickly)

:(

This may actually convince me to get a PS3

Shadow of the Colossus is a game I'd still like to play one day... It probably won't happen though.

Ico is probably just as good as Shadow of the Colossus as well. The storytelling is much more different but I still enjoyed the hell out of it.

If it gets a graphical bump I'm totally down for buying them again, not gonna lie.

The games to be quite honest had a certain quirk to their visual style I didn't really like. Like Ico had these retarded filters for some reason.

Really want this, and would very much like these collections to start being a more common thing

Yeah, its kind of weird, but being that this is officially like the 5th generation of consoles (7th to some), I think its time we get more Best Of/Remake/Upgrade collections, sure we get some games on XBLA/PSN/WiiWare, but they should do it like movies.

Like Nintendo tried with Metroid Prime 3, by releasing Metroid and Super Metroid on VC in the weeks leading up to that, and never really tried that again.

Sony did it with GoW collection leading to GoW 3

For sure. It makes sense - cheap, builds hype, and lets old franchises keep kicking (if even to make some extra cash). Hell, Nintendo even did it as a pre-order offer for Wind Waker. It was that Crockpot Zelda compilation, had a tonne of content on it. I wouldve paid good cash for that, and I'm sure a lot of other people would have, too.
