With the new GT podcast starting, I was wondering what you guys normally listen to...as well as the general format of them.

Here are mine (I'll get the comic book related ones out of the way first):

Around Comics (http://www.aroundcomics.com/): The podcast that taught me all I know about the industry which just ended after five years. It's round table discussion with three main guys discussing comics while sitting in a comic shop in Chicago drinking beer. They'll frequently be joined by artists and writers to chat. Pretty damn funny most of the time which can be mostly attributed to Tom Katers who also does...

Tom Vs The Flash (http://tomvsjla.libsyn.com/): Tom, an accountant and improv comic, describes what happens in every single Flash comic since the start of the Silver Age making off handed comments and pointing out the absurdity. I also did the logo.

Crankcast (http://crankcast.net/): Chris Crank (letterer) and Mike Norton (DC exclusive comic book artist) just talking about whatever. It's funny and depressing and they can't understand why people listen to them talk but it is quite entertaining. Every so often they'll have a movie expert on who sees movies early thanks for working for Sony and attending a lot of film festivals. I find out about a lot of new movies from him. They'll also have on every so often other friends of theirs in the industry...most mentally unbalanced and thus hilarious.

iFanboy (http://ifanboy.com/): Three dudes talk about the comics that were released the previous Wednesday. They also do a video show that covers a new topic each time.

Mysterious Universe (http://mysteriousuniverse.org/): My favorite podcast and I'd be surprised if it isn't the best sounding show on the net. So much work goes into post production and their soothing Australian voices are very easy on the ears. Folks use to joke they'd be content just listening to them read the phone book. They cover everything paranormal and on occasion will interview someone. They do a free weekly show as well as bonus show for a monthly fee.

The Hat Decides (http://thehatdecides.libsyn.com/): Two British guys who used to do the comics podcast Quiet! Panelologists At Work and their Welsh friend pick user suggested topics out of a hat and discuss. Hilarity ensues.

The Skeptics Guide to The Universe (http://www.theskepticsguide.org/): Assume most folks know this one. I only got into it recently. Damn fine science show.

The Ricky Gervais Show: Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant pick the round headed Karl Pilkington's mind. There's also the radio show they did for XFM out there to listen to but doesn't start out to be as Karl based. Purer though. The podcast actually repeats some stories first told on this.

The Lost Podcast with Jay & Jack (http://www.jayandjack.com/): They discuss the show right after it airs and then do another show at the end of the week for more indepth analysis. Sometimes they talk to the actors and writers.
