Man, I now have hope in the future of online shopping. I ordered Soldeir of Fortune II from EBgames cause they were offering a free copy of Soldier of Fortune Platinum with it. Well it came today in the mail, no copy of Soldier of Fortune Platinum :( It said on the shipping slip it sent both, but I only got SOF2.
Well I emailed EBgames' customer service, then went to GT, read one message, and checked my email again. I got a new message from EBgames, no big deal, just the email saying "We got your email, please give us 3 years to get back to you."
But low and behold, they got my message, and have sent me my bonus CD, and apologized for it. All within a matter of 5 minutes or less. Now come on, can online customer service get any better than that? It would take me longer to call the toll-free number and press buttons until I get to talk with a representetive.
Shameless plug for EBgames? Yep, but they deserve it. Now if only other companies would catch on...

good customer service, yes, but the problem shouldn't have happened in the first place...

You never know, the FedEx guy could've taken it.
And even so, I've had problems before that didn't get resolved for months. And I could've been lying and really have gotten it, and wanted a copy for my friend. They didn't delay or nothing, just sent me it.
I was actually expecting to have to call and talk to them, send back the stuff that game, and get the full exchange.

Haha. I never thought of that. That would be a sweet way of getting free stuff. A sweet, horrible way,
:D
And yeah, that is some great customer service. Now, does that email actually say that they would get back to you in "3 years"? Or is that just a generalization?

Ahh. It's so refreshing to hear something good about an online market for once. :)
Ebgames, eh? Hmm, I may look into this online retailer further. Do they take pre-orders (Mario Sunshine)? :D

Yes, they take pre-orders on pretty much every game once release dates are determined. It costs a little more cause of shipping, but I use em a lot. Most of the time they have freebies with preorders.
I just use them for the free stuff with preorders, and cause sometimes they get games in a long time before retail stores, and they are always in stock somehow.
