For £19.99 (around $30), you could own an acre of either the moon, mars and venus.

This offer has been up for a very loooooong time. I'm surprised the whole of the moon hasn't been bought yet :D.

The story behind the selling of the moon:

The Outer Space Treaty of 1967 decreed that no country could lay claim to the Moon. But it forgot to say that no individual could do so! So in 1980 an American called Dennis M. Hope claimed the entire Moon. You get a Lunar Deed of Ownership, a lunar map, the Lunar Constitution, transcript of the original 1980 Declaration of Ownership plus a document confirming your Mineral Rights to your acre. It’s somewhat tongue-in-cheek – but according to all current law it is totally above board! Also available in Venus and Mars.

Just imagine, in 20-25 years, you could be living on either the moon or mars, and you would have 1 acre all to yourself :D

Buy it here! (http://www.innovations.co.uk/gus/product.asp?brand=newInnovations&cat%5Fid=&zone%5Fid=&prod%5Fid=54353&offer%5Fid=54353R&seq=1&link%5Fid=+&extra=&mscs_sid=7NWB6LM6JBUP9JHC8DR3KJWS3PR63PN8)

An acre aint that big, I would buy loads if I had the money. Half of Mars could belong to me, I would buy plots of Mars over the Moon and then I would buy plots of the Moon.

They were also selling the Amazon Rainforest to stop it being cut down ages ago aswell, wouldn't mind owning some of that.

We bought my grandfather an acre for his 60th birthday. It's pretty cool :D

An acre of Venus would be kind of pointless, but if I got an acre of Mars, my children's children could probably use it.

Btw, if I bought a couple of acres would I still own it 50 years from now?

As long as you still had the deeds to the land, yeh.
