Think im going to skip out on this one, ill wait for the next brand new Pokemon game.

Tho Gold was really the first pokemon game where i played a ton and made an effort to collect them all.

I can't fucking wait to go through the Kanto gyms again. That's the one thing I never ended up doing when I went through G/S and I beat myself up over it a lot when I think about that game.

HeartGold acquired! I got a Geodude in my Pokewalker right now since they suck for grinding. I think the Pokewalker is a pretty cool idea. It's good for lvling and shit while I'm at work.

Also, maybe we could start a Pokejournal like we tried for Diamond and Pearl? Your thoughts, gentlemen.

Do not scoff at these games - Gold and Silver are the two greatest Pokemon games ever. They introduced apricorns, breeding, night/day...and my favorite Pokemon, Ampharos.

I haven't actually gotten very far into the game. My girlfriend bought HeartGold, so I spent the first few hours getting a female of all three starters.

I'm going to actually move forward in the game tonight. I can say that so far I am really impressed with the care and attention they put into these games - everything from how it looks down to the packaging. I feel like they realized fans loved these two games. I bought the walkthrough/pokedex for it, and even that is pretty epic. The first 10 pages or so are "prologue" information about Red/Blue.

Also I have a Jirachi, gamestop had an event that ended yesterday where they were giving them out via mystery gift.

I'm all down for PokeJournals - but I think we should post them all in this thread instead of individual ones so they're easier to read.

Also we need to share codes so that we can trade/battle.

I am down for all of those things. As soon as I get a chance (since I'm at work) we can drop the friend codes down. We should put a list of them in the first post. My friends here at work got copies today so I'll put their friend codes up as well.

I got the TM for Flash and I think I'm gonna do a little more grinding/exploring in Dark Cave. Hopefully some cool stuff spawns and I get some nice items.

I think Dunsparce is a rare find. I think that was the one that you had to get some dude's number and he calls you later telling you that he saw it in there. But I can't go through that place without getting Rock Smash. Also! Friend code

it is, but i remember the very first time i played through i was grinding in there and i came across a dunsparce just randomly.

So I started this up, stupid Pokemon.

Of course keeping with the most awesome of traditions went with a water starter, Totodile, in this game. Together we have ran the Pokeworld. Already having the first gym master beg for mercy as we crushed his spirits.

My team right now has the Togepi egg, Pidgey, Onix, Beedrill and Mereep.

Its good to have a team of Pokemon that I actually recognize. Enaks is in my PokeWalker right now, living it up I'm sure.

So far, I like that they cleaned up the menu stuff from Diamond/Pearl/Plat, I thought it was kind of messy, but here nice and clean. I think because they got ride of all that PokeTech stuff.

Vampyr PokeJournal Day 1

I started off my adventure with Totodile, which is different for me since I usually choose the grass starter. But a "friend" traded me Chikorita and Cyndaquil, so I'm not to upset about it.

After defeating a red haired thug named Andim I headed to Violet City and pretty much owned all the weak sages in the Bellsprout Tower. Along the way I raised my Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Jirachi to level 9, keeping them below 10 so they would obey me.

After that I crushed Faukner in the Gym, obtained the TM Flash, explored as much of the dark cave as possible, then headed south towards Azalea town.
