I don't watch much live TV these days with the exception of Craig Ferguson. But I have been keeping up with Modern Family which is actually a really funny show.

Speaking of shows which used to be funny, The Office has really declined this season. Here is to hoping this is the final season. The show should have ended with Jim and Pam's wedding. And if you don't think the quality has declined go re-watch seasons 1-4 where the characters actually had non-cartoon characteristics.

On that note I have decided to finally check out Curb Your Enthusiasm. I am through season 4 and so far so good. It really is a great show. It's not as good as Seinfeld...in fact I think a dimension is lost between Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Plus, Larry David is a bit much and I prefer Seinfeld myself. Like Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm requires you to suspend a lot of disbelief but the payoff is huge and some of the laughs are the best you will find on a TV show. Plus they can say "fuck" and "shit." Hooray for HBO.

Anyone else watch these two shows?

I can't disagree with you on the Office, I don't think the show is bad, I just think its too hit and miss this season, and so far not a fan of the new owners, but I know only one episode.

On the other point, Modern Family is probably my favorite new show this season. I mean it has sharp witty writing. Really interesting characters and dynamics, and fun and unique stories. Everyone who doesn't should check out Modern Family.

I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. The last two episodes of the last season (7 I think) where they have the Seinfeld reunion is some of my favorite TV of all time. Curb is very different than Seinfeld but in some ways I like it more. Some of the scenarios are a bit outrageous and I agree it's better when it's slightly more plausible.

Watch the most recent season with all the Seinfeld guys. It's so freaking good even though they are really only in about 3 or 4 of the episodes.

Modern Family is the only show on TV that makes me cry laughing on a weekly basis. It's hilarious. Curb, while funny at times, I find too mean spirited. I genuinely dislike the main character, and that is always gets in the way of my enjoyment of a show.

Curb is mean spirited at time...but I think it is in good fun. The episode with the handicapped stall is hilarious, and I love the relationship that Wanda Sykes and Larry have.

I'm glad to see a following for Modern Family. :)
I hope it can last on TV for a few seasons....fortunately it is not on FOX.
