This is a very nice introduction on the history of our constitution, as well as how it is currently implemented (not very well). It's by Andrew Napolitano, who is a graduate of Princeton and Notre Dame Law School. He's a staunch Libertarian and a strict constructionist.

Regardless of your views, this is an excellent introduction to the constitution.

Wait, is that a FoxNews watermark at the bottom left? Well then those clips must be full of racist lies, you racist liar! :mischief:

In all seriousness, whenever I hear people (supreme court judges included) say "we don't know what the framers meant when they wrote ________." it always makes me laugh. There are literally thousands of pages of correspondence (I think Jefferson alone is over 1,000 pages) between the framers that make the intention of the constitution and bill of rights very clear. Pretending there is significant confusion is a lie that has been told so often people think it's true.
