I didn't wanna make a new thread, but couldn't find a Bond thread here, which can't be right.

Anyhow, the rejected song from Shirley Bassey who is responsible for Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever and I believe Moonraker.

I'm sure some motivation to go with the Audioslave song is due to the fact that it connects better with the modern crowd.

Yeah this was the awful Keys/White song... which in time has grown on me

Ah, yes. Jack White....

I still think it was in an attempt to reach the "younger" audience although now that you mention in the Casino Royale song was much better than QoS.

I don't think it was to reach a younger crowd, really.

New Bond, new singers, newer-sounding songs.

Wasnt a huge fan on Casino Royale but looking back after seeing the Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale was much better.

I think its the whole Danial Craig factor, not sure I like him has Bond. As for the "Bond, James Bond", there was at least the reference to the Martini.
