Jerboas are jumping desert rodents found throughout Asia and Northern Africa.

Jerboas are nocturnal. During the heat of the day, they shelter in burrows. They create four separate types of burrow: two temporary, and two permanent

Vampire Squid:

At a maximum 30 cm (1 ft) in total length, the Vampire Squid is no threat to humans

Vampire Squid must use innovative predator avoidance tactics in order to conserve energy. Their aforementioned bioluminescent "fireworks" are combined with the writhing of glowing arms, erratic movements and escape trajectories, making it difficult for a predator to home in.

Oh man, I can't believe I missed this! I've been very busy lately :( Thankfully, the jerboa won. I'll be visiting daily from now on!
