The saiga is recognizable by an extremely unusual, over-sized, and flexible, nose structure. The nose is supposed to warm up the air in winter and filter out the dust in summer.

They are easily identified by their distinctive black and yellow stripes, which no other dragonfly in Britain has.

Did you know Dragonflies stay as Nymphs for 5-6 years and is a Dragonfly for only a few months?

They also have a mandible under their chin that reaches out to grab and clasp onto food. And they eat the most mosquito's so they get my vote.
