I like how he acknowledges that Americans use alcohol to express feelings or actions they want to do but they repress normally. I have only blacked out once (well...twice...I drifted in and out that one time when I got really drunk after getting really high, but I digress...). The one time I blacked out: I woke up shirtless in my room with vomit EVERYWHERE. And yeah, I had no fucking clue what happened. So sure, it is conceivable that if you black out you might fuck someone you normally would not fuck sober. Blacking out sucks.

BUT UNLESS YOU BLACK OUT, you pretty much are 100% in control of your situation. Sure, you might be louder, you might lose coordination, you might be a little more obnoxious....but you can still make intelligible decisions. You're not going to chop your dick off after 7 beers, because dammit, you know you don't want to cut your dick off, that would hurt! The only way you're chopping your dick off is if you have a really really bad blackout. My point is, it pisses me off when people say, "yeah, I got drunk and I did something stupid: I slept with [NAME HERE]."

WELL GUESS WHAT. UNLESS YOU BLACKED OUT YOU MADE THAT DECISION CONSCIOUSLY, YOU STUPID MORON.


This is my argument for why rape laws are bad and strongly favor women (btw). If a girl has sex with a guy and decides the next morning after talking to all her friends that she wants to press rape charges....ohh man that boils my blood. This is one of those Feminist issues that men need to stand up against because it is total injustice/bullshit.
