I thought of this in my sleep-deprived state.

Many people talk about the best inventions ever; electricity, medicine, sewage system.

But that takes all the attention away from the real heroes; back scratchers, shoe horns, duct tape, forks, those floaty things for pools.

Duct tape can fix anything. I wouldn't call that mundane. Heck, NASA uses the stuff. :p

I mean...it's like...Fire > Wheel > G-String > Photographing Women in G-Strings > Porn > Duct Tape

Mundane inventions I approve of: answering machine messages/voicemail messages, push-up bras, remote controls

Can openers aren't mundane, unless cans wouldn't have existed.

*Doesn't even know what mundane really means*

But still.

Then again, you could argue that was a world altering and life saving invention at the time, making water potable, so never mind.

Also, add Poker and Oral Sex to that list.
