So on Thursday and Friday the G20 Summit is going to be in Pittsburgh. There's a lot to explain about what it is, so it would probably be better if you read the article. I just figured I'd mention it because a lot of the world leaders are going to be meeting here on those days.

It figures that I planned for my girlfriend to visit this weekend, so it's going to be hell getting from the airport to my place because I have to go through downtown. But that'll be on Friday, so hopefully most of the airport traffic will be on Wednesday and Thursday morning. There are going to be a lot of protests downtown, and even on my campus, so that should be really interesting. Pitt was dumb to not cancel classes. There are going to be so many protesters that they may make it really hard to get around, especially if the police will be involved.

See if you can get pictures of some of the protesters. Any summits with the letter "G" in the front of it tends to attract a special kind of crazy person.

I'll definitely try to get pictures on Thursday and Friday. It should be an interesting two days.

There are just some links of what's been going on here today. I'm sure it'll be worse tomorrow. There's something going on in one of the buildings on my campus, but it's nothing big. Also, there are TONS of state troopers walking around on my campus, and probably downtown. It's strange.

I am still not 100 95 right now sure I will be at the Summit...so I am pretty sure I missed out on Hotel deals, and would still like to keep costs low so I can justify going. This means camping, which while I am not super fond of would at least be interesting/adventurous. Does anyone have experience camping in this area? How about camping as part of Sport Touring?
