I really don't know what this means for Marvel or Disney... will Spiderman be teaming with Mickey? Will Wolverine get a more family friendly image? Will the Fantastic Four be in a decent CG movie...

Disney sees a deep opportunity to immediately patch the Marvel characters into its other businesses, however. Marvel characters will be added to Disney’s theme parks, while consumer products will be a huge component, particularly internationally where Marvel has made fewer inroads.

I..just don't know what to expect from this really. This came out of nowhere. Someone else I follow on Twitter said something funny about waiting for the day that the world is owned by two companies.

Give Pixar the job and they won't screw it up.

Listen giant Disney overlords, I don't mind if you tame the comics. Maybe get rid of Wolverine's claws and make all movies kid-friendly.

AS long as you are kind enough to renew Spectacular Spiderman for a 3rd and 4th season, I won't hold any of your actions against you.

Disney and Microsoft?

Honestly I think it is ok. Disney isn't going to mess with the Marvel formula that is working so well, but there will be more money available for Marvel related projects.

I think this is win, actually.

They just spent 4 billions dollars to get marvel, im pretty sure they're going to try and sap every single penny they can from it. Be it introducing disney characters to the avengers, Marvel vs. Disney games or a billion movies, each one slightly different from the last.

I can't wait to see Wolverine dancing hand in hand with Snow White for toddlers in Disneyland.

And this seems to be the worse news to come out today

Though Marvel Entertainment owns and finances properties like "Iron Man" and "Thor," Fox controls "Fantastic Four" in perpetuity -- as long as it continues making the films. Fox has the same arrangement on Marvel Comics properties "X-Men," "Daredevil" and "Silver Surfer." Marvel is a producer and financial participant through a licensing agreement.

I think Fox has had less critical acclaimed comic movies than they have had cringed worthy ones.

This is alright by me. You know why? Propaganda Games is the "grown up" studio for Disney Interactive. If I get stuck making a Hulk or Spiderman game, I'm totally in the money.

More work = A+ in my books.

However, if they decide to make a Hannah Montana game at Propaganda I would also be in the money. Win win.

Plus, Disney discount will give me some wicked deals on everything Marvel. Very nice.

What movie is that Hitler clip from? I want to see it now...You should see all the fun stuff they did with that scene. :D
'Der Untergang' is the original, German title. I haven't seen it, don't want to either.
